Correspondence Greeting Cards Set
Designed by Mousa Al Raeesi in collaboration with Tashkeel, the Correspondence Set gathers the landmarks, landscapes and everyday rituals of the UAE into a single illustrated world. The box lid and greeting card bring these scenes together in a warm, graphic composition of towers, arches, palms, boats and desert, reading almost like a visual map of the country.
Each envelope carries its own illustration: an Arabian oryx beneath a palm frond, a dhow, dates, a flowering branch, the Burj Khalifa, an arched doorway, a wind tower, a dallah and finjan, and a pearl, among others. Each card opens to a clean inner page for a personal message. Presented in a hard-cover keepsake box, the set encourages a slower form of communication: the handwritten note, sent to be kept rather than read once and discarded.
